FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 12, 1999   SPACES STILL AVAILABLE FOR SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE BASKETBALL YOUTH CLINIC   What: SEC Basketball Clinic Where: Maclellan Gym (UTC) When: February 27, 1999 Time: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Requirements: 6th-8th grade girls Cost: FREE! CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE ­ Spaces are still available for the 1999 SEC Basketball Clinic that will be held in conjunction with the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament. The clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 27 at Maclellan Gymnasium on the campus of UT-Chattanooga. The clinic is free of charge for girls grades 6-8. Participants will also receive free admission to a session on either Thursday, February 25 or Friday, February 26 of the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament. Coaches and student-athletes from the premier women's basketball conference will be on hand to offer basketball instruction in ball handling, defensive slides, free throws, shooting, dribbling, passing, and rebounding. The clinic will also include a "chalk talk" session with coaches and student-athletes about life on and off the basketball court. Participants in the clinic need to bring basketball shoes (no hard soles) and a winning attitude!
